Uchechi Nnamdi Ogbonna born Igbo parenthood of Mazi and Nnenna Ogbonna was a star bassketball player at Daemen College where he was instrumental to championships. His Stats are as follow:

2013-14
• Enjoyed a breakout season as a senior while helping Daemen to the East Coast Conference regular-season title in just their first year in the league
• Appeared in and started 26 of the team's 28 games while averaging 11.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game
• Was one of five players to average more than 28 minutes per game (28.8)


• Scored in double figures 18 times, helping Daemen to a 12-6 record in those contests
• Had eight games of at least 10 rebounds while recording six double-doubles
• Opened the season by being named to the all-tournament team at the Knee Center of Western New York Tip-Off Classic after recording back-to-back double-doubles in Daemen's wins over Ohio Valley (111-90 on November 8) and Goldey-Beacom (59-56 on November 9)
• Included in those performances was a career-high 18 rebounds in the win against Goldey-Beacom
• Stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, eight rebounds, and career-highs of six steals and five assists in an 88-74 loss at Cal State-San Marcos on November 16
• Matched a career-high with 20 points to go along with 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals in Daemen's 90-77 victory at Queens which kick-started a 16-game conference winning streak
• Scored 18 points on 8-for-10 shooting from the field in a key 94-91 victory over Long Island Post on January 31
• Scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 36 minutes of action during Daemen's 100-92 win over Dowling on February 21 which vaulted the Wildcats into first place in the conference standings
• Scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds against Washington Adventist in the semifinal round of the USCAA Division National Championships on March 6

2012-13
• Appeared in 24 games off the bench and was second amongst all reserves with an average of 16.3 minutes per game
• Finished the season fourth on the team in rebounding (3.7 rpg) and sixth in scoring (7.2 ppg)
• Was also third on the team with 12 blocked shots
• Scored in double figures seven times, helping Daemen to a 7-0 record in those contests
• Opened the season with four-straight games of 10 or more points, including a career-high 20 in a 105-59 win over Toronto on Nov. 2
• Played a season-high 23 minutes and scored 15 points in Daemen's 76-64 win over future-East Coast Conference opponent Queens at the Molloy Tip-Off Tournament on Nov. 9
• Sparked the team with 11 points in 13 minutes off the bench to help Daemen to 73-67 win at rival Roberts Wesleyan on Dec. 11
• Scored eight points and grabbed a career-high nine rebounds in Daemen's 81-67 win over Apprentice in the quarterfinal round of the USCAA Division I National Championships

• Named Region III Male Athlete of the Week for January 29-February 4 after scoring 59 points and snaring 30 rebounds in three games, including two double-doubles, missing a third by a single rebound
• Scored a career-high 25 points against Mercyhurst North East on February 2
• Snared 10-or-more rebounds eight times and scored in double figures 17 times throughout the season
• Grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds, 11 offensive, against Merychurst North East on February 21

 Averaged 4.0 points and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting 51% from the field
• Scored 12 points vs. Community College of Beaver County on November 20 in the TJ Memorial Classic Championship and, later, against Seneca College on November 28

• Brother Mazi played football and graduated from the University of Wyoming; brother Ike plays football at the University of Wyoming
 Hobbies include playing basketball, watching movies and ESPN
• Career objective is to either play professional basketball or become a dentist
